I found Doheny interiors to be extremely helpful and professional. When I first met Anne I was looking to transform my younger daughter’s bedroom however after my older daughter asked if she could look at her room we ended up transforming a room I hadn’t even considered but in hindsight was in more need of a makeover. Anne completely reconfigured the room and introduced ideas I hadn’t even thought of. The room is very tricky to work with due to low ceilings, a beam jutting out into the centre of the room and walls which are not straight. Anne suggested putting the wardrobe on that wall and it worked! We went from having a redundant space to having a wardrobe with tons of storage space and the best bit is it didn’t make the room any smaller. My daughter is delighted with her reconfigured room. Doheny Interiors provided an end-to-end service aiding our renovation of a large detached 1970’s era residence. Anne’s vision and thoughtful style recommendations were instrumental in modernising and reconfiguring an old property, unfit for the needs of a young growing family.
Despite the intimidating scale of the project at the outset, Doheny Interior’s consultation process put us at ease, providing much needed clarity with sketches, CAD drawings and sample materials for approval. There were quite a few calls and emails explicitly addressing our queries.
Anne also acted as project manager during our build, co-ordinating trades and dealing with the primary contractor. This element of the service proved to be invaluable, as we simply could not devote enough time to the project whilst working full time. While unforeseen issues arose during the project, Anne’s understanding of our desired outcome meant we were always confident Doheny Interiors would keep the project on track.
